RT: N. Korea says it's still ready to talk to US 'at any time, in any way'

The decision by US President Donald Trump to cancel the summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un is “not in line with the world’s wishes,” the government in Pyongyang has announced.

Kim has made the “utmost efforts” to hold a summit with Trump, said the North Korean first vice minister for foreign affairs, Kim Kye-gwan, according to the state news agency KCNA. The meeting between two leaders was scheduled for June 12 in Singapore.

Pyongyang is “still willing to resolve issues with the United States,” the official said, holding onto the hope that the meeting could still be rescheduled.

WNU Editor: This North Korean message is a 180 from yesterday when they threatened to launched a nuclear apocalypse. But it is too late now. There is going to be no Trump-Kim summit for a long time (if ever). As to what will the North Koreans do next .... I predict that they will re-establish the ties that they broke with South Korea in the coming days/weeks .... and South Korean President Moon will grab it for all the wrong reasons .... namely that he thinks he can still change how North Korea behaves.

Trump tweeted that this is Negotiations 101.
He forced NK to come to the table. Now he's forcing them to call the US back to that same table.

Easy prediction: these negotiations will bounce back and forth a few more times before the two leaders meet. Then it will have at least one or two big ups and downs before a final treaty.

I think North Korea was testing Trump to see if he would beg Kim to come back and throw in some incentives. Trump doesn't play by past American rules. He may have Kim rattled. This should be interesting to watch.
