U.S. Defense Secretary Mattis: North Korea Didn’t React To False Hawaii Missile Alert

WNU Editor: It looks like the North Koreans did not know what was happening. But I am definitely curious on what was the Russian and Chinese reaction to this alert.

That's right. But then again, Russia didn't arm north Korea to the level china did. I think we really should make it crystal clear to China that any missile coming from north Korea will be treated as if it came from China. Maybe then they'll realise we have enough of talk

The Russian and Chinese likely found out after it was all over. ~38 minutes is actually a short period of time.

Their reaction was probably one of head-shakes and chuckles. Norks too.

Is it possible that they are so paranoid that they simply remained on their 7/24 ready for invasion or nuclear attack status so nothing appeared out of normal? I read something the other day that the troops were sleeping with their boots on they were so keyed up for an attack.

The US Defence Network also didn't respond to the alert, nor did Civil Defence.
